Nowhere Near Nashville - NNN proposes a unique twist on country music. Take away the banjo and fiddle, hammer down some heavy guitar riffs and hard-hitting drums, and get ready to rock! They take the most modern Country tunes on the radio today, and ROCK them out. The band is fronted by Scott Howell, who's smooth-yet-rugged, powerful, unforgettable vocals and commanding stage presence are what sets this band aside from any other in the Northwest. Tom Schmidt's heavy bass provides the backbone for Nowhere Near Nashville, and Sean Marcella's tight hard-hitting drumming provides the heartbeat of the band. Rich Wolfson's original blend of rockin' guitar riffs and countrified classic rock melodies are what tie together the foundation and theory of Nowhere Near Nashville. Get ready to rock with NNN!! The fusion of Blues, Rock, Funk and a whole lot of groove is what comes thundering at you like a frieght train rolling down the track. This is Timmons Wall - Greg Timmons (guitar) and Tommy Wall (bass) co-front this trio with two part harmonies and professional showmanship. Joining Greg and Tommy is non-other than the very talented Wade Reeves on drums. Make sure you bring your dancing shoes, these guys will play your favorite songs with attitude and a whole lot of fun!
Author Unknown - Formed in the summer of 1997 by Justin Kausal-Hayes and a few friends who wanted to play the songs that had inspired them to play music. The band has gone through a few changes over the years with the current lineup having been together since 2004. This band has become one of the most popular on the local circuit of blues clubs, irish pubs, and casinos. In 2006 Author Unknown was nominated for “Best New Band” by the Washington Blues Society. The band consists of Justin Kausal-Hayes - lead and rhythm guitar and lead vocals; Jon Sleight - Bass and backing vocals; Andrew Cloutier - Drums and vocals; Scott E. Lind - Lead and Rhythm guitar and vocals. With a catalog of hundreds of songs, and no set lists an Author Unknown show is different every night. The songs are always inspired and tailored to each individual crowd. The consistent thing is superior musicianship, an obvious passion for the music, and the desire to keep everybody enjoying the evening from the first song to the last. www.myspace.com/authorunknowntheband
